I’m in the midst of a four-day children’s writing conference hosted by Book Passage in Corte Madera. My enrollment was a gift from a dear friend who thinks I’ve got what it takes. I don’t know if I have what it takes, so attending such an affair started off as an intimidating experience, but soon transformed into giving me hope and inspiration. I’m ready to take the next step.
I might have more thoughts on this later. The only parting thought that I have this evening is that a free-lance editor said in the middle of her presentation, ”What you can do is send your manuscript to Summer Dawn or I,” and I about wanted to scream.
