This morning down the side of Mt. Tam I glide past another deer, a mother, no doubt, licking the soft, spotted fur, of her baby crushed by this morning’s commute. I pedal home and hug my cat just a little bit longer.

My Auntie M. just sent me this from her archives. It says: The gavial is distinguished by a larger number of teeth than either alligator or crocodile. The long narrow snout with parallel side is characteristic. I bet you didn’t know this.
